Frequently asked questions
Is the board real? Does it contact spirits? No. Candlelit is a game for entertainment. Answers are generated on your phone by the app; the board does not contact anyone.
The planchette is not moving. After you ask, rest a finger on the board. If you lift it, the séance pauses until you touch the board again. You can turn this off in Settings > Hold to connect.
How many questions can I ask for free? Up to 5 questions per night on the Classic Walnut board. Candlelit Pro gives unlimited questions, five more boards and lets you choose who you summon.
How do I start with a different spirit? Open the spirit card at the bottom of the board and tap "Begin a new séance".
How do I cancel my subscription? Open Google Play > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Candlelit > Cancel. Uninstalling the app does not cancel it.
I changed phones. How do I get Pro back? Sign in with the same Google account, then open Settings > Restore purchases.
How do I delete my séances? Open a séance in the journal and tap Delete, or uninstall the app. See the data removal page.
